Bio

I am deeply passionate about helping toddlers, children, adolescents, and young adults in navigating emotional challenges and expressing themselves in healthy ways.

My goal is to empower clients to live freely and authentically while being a facilitator for positive change in their lives. I enjoy working with clients on a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, behavioral difficulties, school issues, life transitions, boundary setting, and family conflicts.

As a person-centered counselor, I believe that the formation of a strong client-counselor healing relationship is of utmost importance in the therapeutic process. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques when helping my clients discover and practice effective coping strategies.

It is important to me that I create a nonjudgmental, safe space in which clients can share their thoughts, feelings, and emotions fully. I believe that everyone deserves to experience the power of truly being heard, and I would be honored to hold that space for you/your child.

*Please Note: A Resident is a post-graduate level counselor  with 1+ years of experience who is in route to professional licensure.  Level of experience and expertise varies by Resident. All clients must be approved by Clinical Director.  All work is monitored, supervised, and billed under a fully licensed counselor.
