Bio

There can be so many spaces in our world where we may feel like we can't be our authentic selves. This may be because it hasn't felt safe, because you're exploring your identity, navigating life transitions, or managing mental health concerns that may impact your abilities to do so. I strive to create a therapeutic space that embraces, uplifts and invites every part of your being - your mind, body, heart and spirit - to show up authentically. In return, I will always show up as my authentic self as a therapist - collaborative, engaging, compassionate and empathetic.

My goal is to collaboratively assist clients in a way that brings knowledge and resilience forward, and celebrates their strengths, identity, values/beliefs and worldview. I want for you to be seen, heard and supported through your therapy journey as you discover a place of healing and recovery. I strongly embrace cultural humility and a relational stance so that therapy can be a safe space for you to process life's difficulties through a culturally informed, trauma-focused, equitable, and intersectional lens. This comes from my own intersectional identities, such as being Indian and a daughter of immigrants. These intersections along with my lived experiences have greatly added to my passion for supporting BIPOC communities to heal from culturally diverse challenges.

I would be honored to walk alongside you in your therapeutic journey and look forward to connecting with you. Let's celebrate who you are and who you are choosing to become as you further your healing journey where you feel empowered in the world, connected to yourself, your values/beliefs and your goals.
